  Antenatal Offer

​Our antenatal offer includes group workshops, one-to-one sessions and online options. The workshops are based on Wirral, and are a set of three, 3-hour, sessions, delivered as a group. Building friendships and connections. Aiming to support families with a healthy pregnancy, preparing for birth &  parenthood. 

Pregnancy brings many changes and decisions.

Many parents feel unsure about breastfeeding/bottle feeding, sleep, and caring for a newborn.

 

Our antenatal workshop, delivered in conjunction with Zita Maria, will discuss parent & infant nutrition, effective breastfeeding/bottle feeding & infant development to help you on this journey.

Session One:
Preparing 4 Parenthood and Connecting in Pregnancy

This interactive 3hr antenatal workshop focuses on exploring the transition to parenthood and the postnatal period.

You will learn about:

  • The Critical 1001 Days

  • Understand how to maximise your baby's brain development

  • Understand the power of oxytocin (The Love Hormone)

  • The importance of connecting with your baby in pregnancy

  • Identifying a support network

This helps you plan your journey, understand why you are important in your baby's brain development and reduce worry.

 

We provide balanced, non-judgemental information you can use throughout your pregnancy and after your baby arrives.

Our role is to support your choices.

 

We help you decide what works for you and your family.

Session Two: Preparing 4 Birth 

   In Partnership with Zita Maria

This antenatal 3hr workshop focuses on preparing mind and body.


Preparing for birth is about more than just labour - it's about understanding your body, your choices, and how to

navigate fear and uncertainty with confidence. We offer a calm, evidence-based and supportive approach to

preparing for labour and birth and how you can have a positive birth.

You will learn about:

  • How to prepare mind and body for labour and birth

  • How to use holistic tools, like mindfulness and movement

  • The importance of birth partner connection

  • Understanding labour and your body

  • Understand how position and movement support labour

  • Breathwork and Pain Coping Techniques

  • Emotional and mental Preparation

This programme helps set realistic expectations and reduce worry.

 

We give balanced, non-judgemental information that you can use to develop a birth plan and enable you to feel in

control of your labour and birth.

The session is flexible, working with you and the group to meet your needs. There will be practical activities including

relaxation session.

You will leave feeling empowered and confident.

Session Three: Preparing 4 Feeding and Early Parenting 

This antenatal 3hr workshop focuses on life with your baby after birth.


It explains what early parenting is really like.

You will learn about:

  • Newborn behaviour and development

  • Bonding and responsive care

  • How to prepare for breastfeeding, including colostrum harvesting

  • What babies need in the early weeks - including why skin to skin is important

  • The benefits of breastmilk and responsive feeding

  • Optimising Lactation - how milk is made and supporting supply

  • Loving and Latching

  • Positioning and Attaching

  • Common feeding challenges and where to get help

  • Safe and responsive bottle feeding

  • How to care for your baby - calming, changing and bathing activities

We explain what is normal for babies, including:

  • Breastfeeding and bottle feeding

  • Sleep patterns

  • Crying and comfort

 

This helps set realistic expectations and reduce worry.

 

We give balanced, non-judgemental information, that you can use whether you breastfeed, formula feed, or do both.

We help you decide what works for you and your family.

Optional Additional (online) Session : Nutrition 4 Pregnancy

Good nutrition supports your health and your baby’s development.

This additional online antenatal session, which complements the antenatal course, gives clear, practical advice and focuses on everyday food choices you can manage.

What makes this session unique is that it has been developed by an expert dietitian and recognises the importance and significance of gut health.


Gut health supports digestion, immunity, and overall well-being.

Research shows that diet in pregnancy affects both the parents’ and the baby’s gut health. This can influence long-term health outcomes.
