Pre-recorded Antenatal Session
This course, brought to you by Clare from Nutrition4Nippers, is designed to meet the needs of all those new to the world of breast/chestfeeding, from first-time parents to multidisciplinary health professionals.
The course discusses the importance of breastfeeding, its impact on health, and explores attachment and creating positive relationships.
It will also cover caring for and calming a new baby, normal newborn behaviour, reducing the risk of SIDS, normal feeding patterns, how to breastfeed, how to hand express, and when to seek help.
For first-time parents, it gently introduces the concepts of responsive feeding and parenting, drawing on scientific evidence and best practice from an expert in the field of breastfeeding training and support.
For professionals, this course will contribute towards the criteria associated with IBCLC CERP requirements.
This is a general and gentle introduction and will start your journey on understanding breastfeeding babies.
