At Nutrition 4 All, we provide specialist feeding and nutrition support for families across Wirral, Merseyside, Cheshire and North East Wales.

We work with parents, babies, children and teenagers to help make feeding and nutrition feel clearer, easier and more manageable.

Our advice is based on clinical expertise, evidence-based practice and many years of real-world experience supporting families.

Meet The Founders

Nutrition4Nippers is led by two highly experienced healthcare professionals with extensive NHS and specialist clinical backgrounds in infant feeding and nutrition.

Clare Whitehead -
Director and Founder 

Clare is an Infant Feeding Specialist and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).

She qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1995 and as a Health Visitor in 1997. Through her work with families across the UK, she developed a strong focus on supporting women and babies with breastfeeding and infant nutrition. 

Clare became an Infant Feeding Lead within the NHS in 2009 and went on to qualify as an IBCLC in 2015, strengthening her ability to provide expert, evidence-based breastfeeding support. 

She also has counselling and motivational interviewing qualifications, which supports her ability to work with families in a calm, supportive and non-judgemental way.

Clare has written for public and healthcare publications and has a strong interest in ensuring feeding advice is accurate, accessible and based on current evidence. 

She is a parent herself and understands the realities of family life, bringing both professional and personal insight to the families she supports.

Denise King
Director and Founder

Denise is a State Registered Dietitian and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), with extensive experience in both adult and paediatric nutrition.

Before training in Dietetics, Denise had a 12-year career as a professional dancer, travelling internationally. She later graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Dietetics from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh. 

She began her NHS career in 2006 as an adult dietitian before specialising in paediatric nutrition in 2009. 

In 2011, Denise became Clinical Lead Paediatric Dietitian for Wirral Community NHS Trust, where she developed significant expertise in supporting children with complex nutritional needs. 

She qualified as an IBCLC in 2016, combining advanced breastfeeding support with specialist nutrition knowledge. 

Denise also contributes to evidence-based nutrition content and publications, helping ensure families receive accurate and practical guidance. 

She is a parent and brings both professional and lived experience to the families she supports.

Qualified, regulated and evidence-based

Between them, Clare and Denise bring decades of clinical experience.

They are:

  • International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLC)

  • Registered healthcare professionals

  • experienced in senior NHS clinical roles

  • committed to evidence-based practice

Denise is a State Registered Dietitian and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and both clinicians are registered with Lactation Consultants of Great Britain. 

Their work is grounded in current research and best practice, while always being adapted to real-life situations.
